Capstone Consulting Course

Capstone is a required course for the PMBA and MBA@Rice programs that brings together teams of 4-5 students to work with community organizations to solve critical strategic challenges, such as major growth or expansion plans, organization turnaround strategies, and new ventures. The course is taken in the final semester/quadmester of the program.

Types of Capstone Projects

Corporate & Non-Profit

Enterprise and Corporate Strategic Planning or New Program Designs for Non-Profits

Strategy

Strategy projects including new product, new market, globalization, international and turnaround strategy plans

Function-Focused

Function-focused improvements: marketing; staffing and talent management; operations and supply chain; IT systems and technology; etc.
