Humbling, eye-opening, life-changing. The opportunity to travel to a part of the world I wouldn't have normally had extremely high on my bucket list was a real draw for me. I saw it as a chance to step outside of my comfort zone and travel to an unknown place with unknown people and it was so rewarding.
