Networking and Interview Workshop for PMBA Students, Tuesday, September 25, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Don’t miss our upcoming Networking and Interviewing Workshop, featuring Rice MBA Alumni Board Member, LP Fortin Borroughes, Manager at Alvarez & Marsal.

Please RSVP in OWL-Careers if interested in attending.

First Years: Please Schedule a PMBA Intake Session with the CDO; Required to See Job Postings/Participate in On-Campus Recruiting Next Year

Part of our process of getting to know you and your career goals are our intake sessions. We only offer PMBA intake sessions during your first semester here (this semester!) and they are required to enable you to participate in on-campus recruiting and/or to view our job postings during your second year. Please schedule an intake appointment through OWL-Careers at your earliest convenience!

Coding for MBAs Workshop-Limited Spots. Sign up in Campus Groups begins Monday, September 24 at 5:00 pm.

Are you seeking careers in organizations that develop software (B2B, B2C or internal software systems)? Are you interested in roles that include Program Managers, Project Managers, Product Managers and Software Development Managers?

Consider signing up for this workshop to learn concepts, processes, tools, and programming languages used in the real world to build software applications. This knowledge, coupled with the industry terminology learned throughout the course, will be beneficial both during the job search process and once you join an organization.

Sign-ups will begin Monday, September 24 at 5:00 pm in Campus Groups. Cost is $25. Limited spots!

Share Your Wins! Update OWL-Careers with Any Job Offers Received

A major aspect of our school rankings are employment outcomes, and this includes all offers students receive, not just the ones you accept!

If you’ve received a job offer, please let us know about it by reporting it in OWL-Careers. This information also helps us understand who is interested in our students so that we can be better informed on who to build strategic relationships with to develop our employer base. Help us help you, and report any offers you receive in to OWL-Careers. NOTE: Merely reporting an offer received will have no effect on your recruiting status. So don’t worry about reporting offers received, nothing will change in OWL-Careers and you will still have full access to recruiting.
