Net Impact

Rice Chapter Initiatives:

NI Rice is collaborating with JGSB administration to improve green programs, recycling and energy efficiency at the JGSB.

NI Rice is working with JGSB administration to promote curriculum changes that incorporate CSR and social enterprise.

NI Rice promotes the Board Fellows Program, where JGSB students will be able to sit on the boards of local non-profit organizations.

NI Rice is committed to developing ongoing community service and charitable giving opportunities for students to help the JGSB make a meaningful impact on Houston.

NI Rice is working with JGSB clubs to promote sustainability and CSR initiatives related to their disciplines. Examples include Finance Club (microfinance, impact investing), Real Estate Club (LEED and conservation), Energy Club (sustainable energy), etc. 

In just two years, the Rice Chapter of Net Impact has doubled in size and has been integral in the JGSB's CSR and greening efforts. We are committed to continuing these efforts to transform JGS into a top notch social enterprise school.
