Event Types:

Speaker Series
The Speaker Series provides a forum for members to interact with leaders of healthcare and biotechnology organizations. Seminar topics and frequency vary annually based on the expressed interests of club membership. Typical presentation focuses on job function, internships and industry issues presented by students, alums or invited guests.


Alumni Events
Club members will have the opportunity to meet with alumni in small groups for lunch or coffee tolearn more about career opportunities. In addition, members can meet alumni at club-sponsored alumni networking events.


Career Services
Throughout the year, members from the Healthcare Club will provide new members with the resources to help improve their resumes, find an internship, and meet other students interested in biotechnology and healthcare. Students will be notified about panel discussions, coffee chats, resume reviews, and networking events by signing up for the club.


Treks
The Health Care Club, in collaboration with other Jones Graduate School of Business Clubs, will sponsor company visits to learn about companies in the healthcare and biotechnology space. Students are typically invited to a company for a few hours to meet representatives and learn about the company.


Case Competitions
HCC will coordinate the creation of a team for two case competitions that will take place at other universities. Additionally, non-participants in the club will be available for support.The club will work with the team to offer financial assistance.
