Houston, Rice, and Real Estate

With a friendly development climate, a storied history of entrepreneurship, and dozens of Fortune 500 companies, Houston is one of the best places in the country to pursue a Real Estate education. No institute of higher learning is more connected to the Houston Real Estate industry than Rice University. The Real Estate Club is the organizing body for the study of Real Estate within the Jones Graduate School of Business and serves as a point of community and student-alumni engagement.

Membership is open to all graduate students interested in the many disciplines of Real Estate including Corporate Finance, Development, Private Equity, Investment Banking, Brokerage, City Planning, and Titling. The Real Estate Club works closely with the Career Development Office (CDO), the alumni network, and local industry organizations to create opportunities for career development and advancement in the Real Estate field.

Graduates of Rice's Real Estate Program have a powerful and in-demand skillset. Many alumni go on to careers at the world's largest and most innovative real estate companies including JLL, Brookfield, CBRE, Trammel Crow, Hines, and Westfield.
