What should I be doing now?
Review the onboarding checklist to confirm that you are on track in submitting administrative items to help us prepare for your first day. You can access the Onboarding Checklist in your applicant portal at apply.business.rice.edu/account/login and click the ONBOARDING tab at the top.
Featured checklist items:
Clear holds in ESTHER
Login to ESTHER and begin clearing the required holds that will prevent your registration for courses. Instructions to clear holds are available here.
Time is running out and ALL students are required to either waive the health insurance offered by Rice or purchase the Rice Health Insurance Plan. Please work on the completion of the Student Health Data Form now, as you will not be able to register as a student without it on file and the university’s deadline for it is July 1.
Meet the APSE Team: Registration and Records
(Office of Academic Programs and Student Experience)
In your first semester, the Registration and Student Records team will register you for all of your courses. The only thing you’ll need to do is clear your registration holds!
Want to know who advocates for students at Rice Business?
Meet the Rice Business Student Association (RBSA)!
Each MBA program has its own unique RBSA council that aims to maximize student access and opportunities, optimize learning, and increase the value of the Rice MBA.
As an incoming student, you can look to your RBSA to advocate for your cohort by communicating with staff, building community and traditions through iconic social events like weekly Partios and the JGSB Gala, and expanding your network by uniting all MBA programs, faculty, and alumni.
