The Startup Village track brings together startups, entrepreneurs, investors, and innovative tastemakers. Topics range from B2B, B2C, Bootstrapping, Business Strategy, Colleges, Entrepreneurs, Future of Money, Film, Music, Startups, and anything in-between. Admission to SXSW Interactive with heavily subsidized tickets. Members of the entrepreneurship club will be gain access to the conference with the highly subsidized price of $200 per person, discounted from the original price of $1,125 per person.
Travel to lodging in Austin are not included in the price of the ticket, but the club will facilitate coordination of carpooling AirBnB.

Yael Hochberg

Professor Hochberg's research and teaching interests are focused on entrepreneurship, innovation, and the financing of entrepreneurial activity. She is also considered one of the foremost experts on accelerator programs, and serves as Managing Director of the annual Seed Accelerator Rankings Project. In addition to her doctorate in finance from Stanford UniversityÔÇÖs Graduate School of Business, she holds an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and a masters degree in Economics from Stanford University. She has previously held faculty positions at the MIT Sloan School of Management, Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and the Johnson School of Management at Cornell University, and was employed in the technology industry in both larger and startup companies.
