Rice University to host Regional Qualifier competition on Feb. 10, 2024


TigerLaunch is the world's largest student-run entrepreneurship competition, and they will be hosting regional qualifier competitions to find the best student-run companies to compete. These regional competitions take place all over the world--including Houston at Rice University!

Every year, TigerLaunch contestants have the opportunity to go head-to-head with startups from across their region and receive feedback from top venture capitalists and investors. Best of all, TigerLaunch is all-expenses-paid competition and winners will receive $60,000 in no-strings-attached funding.

Rice University will host one of 10 regional competitions in February 2024 to determine which teams advance to the live final event in April. At each regional event, invited teams will present their company to a panel of judges, and two teams from each regional competition will advance to the global TigerLaunch competition in April 2024 at Princeton University. Any student team can apply!
 
Eligibility:
  • Open to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral program students with a graduation date of December 2023 or later
  • Can be a team of students of a solo student founder
Benefits:
  • Pitching to, feedback from and networking with top VCs and investors
  • Travel to and from the regional competition in Houston is covered by TigerLaunch

  2. Answer questions about your startup
  3. Attach a pitch deck, presentation or your startup/company website
  4. Click on up or down arrow to move between questions
  5. Click Submit by November 1 at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time
