Real Estate Association: Entrepreneurship Panel

On March 25th, the REA will be hosting an entrepreneurship-focused panel to give MBA students from all programs a chance to learn from business owners in the real estate field.

The panel will include:
- Jon Wiegand (FT MBA '19); Principal of Alamo Capital Advisors
- Armistead Burkes (FT MBA '05); Principal of Burloc Development Company
- Mark Davis (FT MBA '89); Owner of Davis Commercial Real Estate

The discussion will focus on the career paths of each of these founders, their approach to starting businesses (especially during the pandemic), and what asset classes they are interested in developing. This will be followed by a short Q&A period during which students can interact with the panelists.

This will be a hybrid IN-PERSON event at a McNair hall classroom. Two of the panelists will be present in-person, and there will be a zoom component for those wishing to attend remotely. Masks will be required and there will be a capped in-person registry in line with Jones School COVID requirements.
