Everyone is Invited! Veterans Day Social and Poker Night - Hotel Zaza

Rice MBAs, if you're tired of campus meet and greets where 60 of us end up hovering around three people, here is a better option.

On Wednesday, November 11, Veterans + Ventures at Hotel ZaZa, just down Main Street from campus, puts you in a room with senior people from the kinds of companies many of us want to work for. The evening is built around tables of ten, so you spend hours with the same small group instead of waiting in line for a five-minute handshake. No military background is needed.

Attendees including:

Energy and industrial: Shell, Rystad Energy, Woodway Energy, Honeywell
Technology and AI: AWS, Precision AI Automation, SwissPine Tech, A6 Scientific
Finance and investing: Goldman Sachs, Astoria Strategic Wealth
Founder-led businesses: Water Runner, Trussly, Rhysis Logic, Pipe Market, Gault Collective, K36 Consulting, and more

Most of them are founders, CEOs, and senior leaders, so these are conversations about roles, internships, mentorship, and investor introductions with the people who make those decisions. Our speakers come from Voyager Technologies, Grayline Group, Mercury Fund, Owners in Honor, and boodleAI.
