Players:
In addition to playing, we encourage each team to set up a tailgate tent mid-field to hang out between games as well as have a location for team families to hang out.

Players need to also register individually in addition to a team registration.
We will have a beer tent and lunch will be provided.

Bring the Family: 

There will other activities and games going on throughout the day.  Come watch teams participate, cheer on your classmates and enjoy what Dean Andrews has promised to be amazing weather. 

About:  

Owl Bowl is the annual Charity Flag Football Tournament hosted by the Rice Business Student Association for Professionals (RBSAP). The event is open to all Houston area MBA programs. It is the only event that brings together students from across all Rice Business programs; Full-time, Professional, Executive, and Online, as well as alumni and other members of the Houston MBA community. It is an exciting and fun Rice Business tradition that brings out students’ families and friends as well as Rice Business alumni, faculty, and staff as spectators. To compete each team must raise at least $500 with the total raised going to a support several local charities and philanthropic efforts, including The Marine Corps Coordinating Council (MCCC). If you are a new teams, captain responsible for submitting team donation no later than February 10.  All registration closes November 12.

Lack of waiver could result in inability to play.

For many Rice MBAs, Owl Bowl is among the highlight of their MBA experience because it is an opportunity to socialize and compete with classmates outside of the classroom, as well as give back to the city that we call home. Last year, Owl Bowl donated $8,000 to local charities with the proceeds from the tournament. 

A Living Tradition: 

In its eighth year, Owl Bowl is looking for sponsors to build upon its past success. Sponsors will underwrite the costs of the event to ensure that funds raised by participating teams are given back to the Houston community.
